A much better than average strike for this date, without the peripheral weakness noted by David Lange. Strong fasces lines as well, likely near Full Bands when originally struck. The Obverse details are just a touch soft and "fuzzy", so that die was run a bit long, but far better than most I see. Retains more than half of the luster, with a solid shot at certifying AU-58 if submitted. A date I feel is solidly underrated if well struck and with decent surfaces, due to considerable abuse normally found on these due to the heated First World War economy.

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
