Choice Almost Uncirculated, surface detail equivalent to a certified AU-53 or 55. Original with a decent strike despite signs of a major die clash, especially noticeable under the Native's chin. Decent luster remaining, about half. Unfortunately, like many S Mint Buffalos of this period, struck on a planchet with laminations, and therefore would not certify in a normal holder. The most obvious problem is on the Obverse to the left of the date, where a flake has fallen out of the planchet after striking. Not worth what an unimpaired specimen would be, about $600 in this grade range, however still worthy for a better grade circulated set. Discounted accordingly.

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
