Almost Uncirculated+, equivalent detail to what I see in AU-53 or better certified holders. This coin was recovered out of a California hoard, and lightly cleaned to remove darker toning. Sharp remaining detail close to Choice AU (AU-55+) and significant remaining luster, more than can be seen in my images. The surfaces made it difficult to get accurate images. The strike is just a bit mushy through the center of Liberty's body, not uncommon for a First World War era date. Marks on the coin are very limited, and virtually no hairlines or scuffing due to the cleaning. The color is relatively even other than some remaining darker toning on the Reverse. Not too far from what might certify in a normal holder, just not worth my risk of time and $$$ to try. Not worth what an unimpaired specimen would be worth (closer to $400-$500 if it would certify) however I would consider this coin relatively attractive, and certainly worthy of consideration for a mid- to upper-grade circulated set. The color should continue to tone down over time I also have several other coins of the same date available in higher grade, listed here as well as on ebay.

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
