1919-D Walking Liberty Half Dollar PCGS VF25 Key Date Gorgeous Original Surfaces 1919-D Key Date Walking Liberty Half Dollar graded VF25 by PCGS This coin was actually crossed over recently from an old ANACS white soapbox holder where it resided for a few decades, also graded VF25. So, you have 2 expert opinions, including one from the stingiest, most conservative grading company in the hobby, PCGS, who are both in agreement this coin is VF25. Wonderful coin with wholesome, original surfaces. The 1919-D is well known as being the softest struck date of the Walking Liberty series. These coins, especially the pre-1921 dates, are so hard to grade, and very often improperly evaluated. Have confidence this coin has been well evaluated by both ANACS and PCGS and although PCGS current crossover rate sits at a paltry 30%, this one made the grade! Nice natural grey color with a thick patina
