Item Description
Overall detail of AU-55, with considerable luster remaining. Decent enough strike for a date that commonly comes with issues, principally in the details around the rims. This Obverse is better than many, the Reverse shows more die wear but is not horrible. Typical old, light cleaning (which most dealers on places like ebay would not bother to mention), but not what I consider a problem although I doubt this would pass muster at PCGS so have not tried. The coin has largely retoned and has acceptable color. One light scratch on the Reverse across the U of UNITED is noted for accuracy. Certainly suitable for the average circulated set.
