1919-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar Very Tough Key - PCGS VF20 - Choice Original
This next batch of Walkers has just come back. Three 1919-S and a 1927-S. Two of the three 1919-S were graded VF20 and one was graded VF Details due to a few hairlines on the reverse upper left quadrant on the eagle's head/shoulder and open top left field. The 1927-S was graded a disappointing VF35. I fully expected XF40 and when you see it, you'll probably agree. Anyway, I appreciate their stingy and tight grading - it keeps values high
This auction is for the first of the 1919-S VF20 Half Dollars. This is a nice, choice example, accurately graded with nice surfaces and great eye appeal.
