1921 90% Silver Mercury Dime VG/F - Semi Key Date 3rd Lowest Mintage of Series
This listing is for a scarce 1921 Mercury or Winged Liberty Dime.
The 1921 Philadelphia issue of the Mercury Dime boasts the 3rd lowest mintage of the series. Only the 1916-D and the 1921-D had fewer coins struck.
This coin is in a VG grade range. Obverse is closer to a full F Fine, but some weakness on the reverse rim around the bottom will keep this to the VG grade in my estimation.
This listing is just for the 1921 Philadelphia issue Mercury Dime - 1 coin.
Greysheet Bid/Ask for the 1921 in the bottom VG grade is $70/$95.
In the second G grade, Choice Good, Greysheet bid/ask is $44/60.
This coin was extracted from a recently purchased album collection which included a Blue Whitman album of Mercury Dimes missing only the 1916-D. Once again, This listing is just for the 1921 Mercury Dime - 1 coin. The other pictures at the end are just to show the album from which this coin was pulled.
Other listtings which include a 1918 in XF, a 1919 in AU, a 1921-D in F/VF, and a trio of 1931 coins, P, D, S in VF to XF! If they are not listed here, they are on eBay in auction and have a bid already. Auctions are set to end Friday, Decmber 6 early evening EST.
