A slightly better date for a P Mint product, and definitely tougher in Uncirculated grades. Equivalent to what will normally certify MS-62. Flashy luster under moderate reddish-gold toning, in a streaky "woodgrain" type pattern. This is caused for the same reason as with the Lincoln Cents series, a slightly improper alloy mix. David Lange notes in his book that this year suffers from a higher than normal incidence of planchet laminations, possibly as the result of the Mint using planchets from outside private contractors. This would also explain minor alloy issues. Regardless, not what I would call a "problem" and the coin is certainly not unattractive - it is certainly original as any monkey business would have removed this completely. Due to value this will require Insured shipping with Signature Confirmation, hence the S&H shown.

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
