1923-S Standing Liberty Quarter. Good-6 grade. I will go into some detail with this copy of the key date of the Standing Liberty Quarter series. The surfaces are original and uncleaned. On the obverse, only the 3 of the date is visible, the word LIBERTY is sharp and clear, and the motto IN GOD WE TRUST is clear and very readable. The positive aspect of the reverse is that ALL of the reverse lettering is free and clear of the rim although the Q of QUARTER is barely so. The negative aspect of the reverse is that there is a light scratch from the right side of the eagle's tail feathers through the lower portion of the eagle's right wing. It can also be seen in the field from left to right above the eagle's head. There is also a scratch on the top of the eagle's head. Grading is subjective.
