A grading guide for your consideration:
GOOD: Date will be readable although well worn. Buffalo's horn will be flat and not visible.
VERY GOOD: The buffalo's horn will be flat but you should see some outline, usually at the base.
FINE: The buffalo's tail and horn will be smooth but should be partially visible especially the rounded end of the base of the horn. Date is full, although worn.
VERY FINE: The obverse cheekbone will be worn but show some definition. Moet of the buffalo's horn visible tapering off towards tip of horn. (Try a 3/4 of horn rule).
EXTREMELY FINE: Signs of slight wear on the buffalo's horn but all visible. Some wear on the Indian's hair ribbon. Full and complete date, well defined
