This is an extremely attractive 1924-S Lincoln Cent that certainly would be in top third out of one hundred coins of the same date for grade XF-40. It has nice original copper color and upmost importantly a strong strike on the reverse with all the lines and leaves in the wheat stalks sharply defined on this notoriously weakly struck date. If there were a little less wear on Mr. Lincoln's temple and beard this coin would grade XF-45. Still this coin has much better eye appeal than several AU-50's I have seen.
