1925 90% Silver Peace Silver Dollar PCGS MS65 (X-INS 65) Frosty White Gem
This listing is for a 1925, Philadelphia issue Peace Silver Dollar graded PCGS MS65. Beautiful white luster and th hardly a blemish to be seen. Fully struck and fully lustrous. Very choice and solidly worthy of the gem grade assigned.
That slab did crack when the coin was being extracted and there is a jagged edge on the plastic, so if you prefer to not have it sent, just let me know and I will not include the old slab. I figure there is a good chance whoever the winner is may like it for the "cool factor".
This coin was recently cracked out of the pictured INS (MS65) holder and submitted to PCGS and PCGS concurred with the previous assigned grade. INS was located in Washington DC and eventually relocated to Dallas Texas where they did business in the Heritage Building. That is the same building as where Heritage Auctions has done business for many decades. Heritage Auctions acquired INS shortly after the move. I have seen many coins graded by INS and I love to maintain and keep the old holders as they are classic artifacts in my view. The problem is, most of them are more conservatively graded than today's standards and a large percentage of the coins I have cracked out to submit to PCGS have come back a point higher.
