This is the most plentiful issue of the 1920s across all grades. Though most Mint State coins are less than fully struck, there are enough sharp ones to meet the demand from picky collectors. The luster on these coins is generally quite pleasing, too. Why quality improved so vastly over that of the previous date is unknown.
Varieties include one very minor doubled-die obverse and another, much more distinctive one which is paired with a minor doubled-die reverse. This pair is recognized by NGC under its VarietyPlus Service.
