Item Description
Choice Very Fine with a full horn (or complete if you prefer that term). Good strike overall and no planchet problems. A couple of very old light scratches on the Obverse make me think this unlikely to certify in a normal holder so I have not tried. Otherwsie I think this would come back a VF-35 and it is priced accordingly, adjusted for the minor problem. Increasingly a very tough coin to find in this grade range (or better), and many certified specimens I reviewed in the VF-25 to 35 grade range had light problems or lacked a complete horn, so the price shown here should not be out of line.
