1926-S Standing Liberty Quarter with Teardrop Cud. Very Fine Grade. This popular error features a large interior die cud located between Lady Liberty's left hip and the portal wall to her left. This error is included in the book, "Standing Liberty Quarter Varieties and Errors" authored by SLQ expert Robert H. Knauss. It appears in the 2nd edition of this outstanding reference book on the series on page 339, and is indexed as K-0006. Grading is subjective. Please examine the attached photos to formulate your own opinion in regard to grade.
