1927 S Lincoln Wheat Penny

Here is a 1927 S Lincoln Wheat Penny that has been sent to PCGS for restoration and graded as F 15, almost good enough to justify a designation as a VF coin. As you can see from the photos, the front, like so many other coins, is misaligned with the reverse, but only by a couple of degrees and in the opposite direction most coins. PCGS (July/August 2021) indicates that an F 15 coin would be worth $5 and USACoinbook warrants that if you were purchase an F 12 coin from a dealer that you would pay about $3; and a VF 20 coin would cost you between $5 and $6. But you can have this graded and restored coin for only $4 (plus shipping).

This item is a part of a liquidation sale currently in progress and is priced to sell. Retirement looms and with no one else in the family interested in this pastime, it is time to find new homes for all of my coins. Please note that other avenues of liquidation are being explored so this particular item may not be around much longer.
