Item Description
Choice Very Fine, certified PCGS/CAC VF-30. Original and and I might add a true VF, unlike many if not most sold by "commercial" dealers. One of the worst struck coins in the series typically, which lets some get away with that excuse to overgrade this date (commonly including the grading services, by the way). 177 at PCGS in the grade, 334 in all VF grades at NGC. NGC does not break down VF's any further, however using a similar percentage of VF-30's compared to other grades from PCGS, this comes out to about 80-85 VF-30 NGC coins as an estimate. 25 at CAC with a "bean", a slightly higher percentage than one might expect, but I think that speaks to the premium for correctly graded examples. Zero in the new CACG holder; per their policy this is guaranteed to cross to the new holder should the purchaser wish to submit it. Sorry, but based upon the typical crapolla I see offered for this date in the VF grades, even the supposed CAC CPG value is too cheap. Individual coin images taken by PCGS.
