1927-S half dollar. Tough semi key date
This 1927-S is at least VF30, and probably closer to 35. the 1920s Walkers are all known for being weakly struck so it's really hard to grade these in the traditional sense of looking for full breasts, eagle eye pupil, sandal detail skirt lines and eagle feathers. That said this coin possesses 70-80% full detail and even has some traces of luster in the cracks I still firmly believe it misses XF and is properly and conservatively graded as a 30
This example has choice original skin and a solid VF30/35 example. Problem free. Not cleaned, no scratches, no rim issues. Very choice
