Here is a 1930 P coin that has been sent to PCGS for restoration and graded as XF 40. It also carries the designation as a DDO FS-102 variety. If you were to examine the TruView® image, you can see on a slight doubling of the right edge of the lower feather. Also, for what it is worth, the front of this coin, unlike so many other Buffalo Nickels, is almost perfectly aligned with the reverse. Apparently, this is a fairly rare variety. The only value information provided by PCGS (September/October 2021) indicates that an MS 64 DDO FS-102 coin to be worth $150. No other price information is given for any other grade. But you can have this restored and graded coin for only $74 (plus shipping).
This item is a part of a liquidation sale currently in progress and is priced to sell. Retirement looms and with no one else in the family interested in this pastime, it is time to find new homes for all of my coins. Please note that other avenues of liquidation are being explored so this particular item may not be around much longer.
To ensure delivery, this coin will be sent via Certified Mail.
Please note that the system is not structured to adjust the shipping charges unless I were to be selling several coins under a single listing. (I have not seen anyone on USACoinbook do this.) Thus, if you were to order multiple coins from me (each a different denomination/year/mint/grade/etc), you could be socked with what seems to be outrageous shipping costs. To overcome this, order all of the coins you want, but do NOT pay yet. I can then go in and adjust the invoice to bring the shipping costs to a more reasonable level. At this time you should pay me.If paying by check or money order, this coin will be shipped once funds have cleared.
Thanks for looking.
