1931 S Buffalo Nickel

Here is a 1931 S Buffalo Nickel that has been submitted to PCGS for restoration and graded as XF 40. Since San Francisco was the only mint producing Buffalo Nickels that year, and only 1.2M were coined, this is a fairly rare coin. You can also see from the photos that, like so many Buffalo Nickels, the front is misaligned with the reverse by several degrees. PCGS (November/December 2021) indicates that an XF 40 coin would be worth $45. However, you can have this restored & graded coin for only $42 (plus shipping).

This item is a part of a liquidation sale currently in progress and is priced to sell. Retirement looms and with no one else in the family interested in this pastime, it is time to find new homes for all of my coins. Please note that other avenues of liquidation are being explored so this particular item may not be around much longer.
