A 1937 Buffalo Nickel US Mint Coin in "Good" Condition
This vintage coin is from the last year Buffalo nickels were struck at the Philadelphia Mint. And it's a true American classic. Designed by renowned sculptor James E. Fraser, the obverse features a proud Native American profile. The reverse depicts a rugged American buffalo. This coin was struck the same year famous aviator Amelia Earhart – with her navigator Fred Noonan – disappeared while attempting the longest flight around the globe. The fate of the plane and its crew is still a mystery today. Recall their final flight with the last P-Mint Buffalo nickel.
