Offered here for the collector is a 1937 Wheat Cent with a Doubled Die reverse.
This is a 1937-P Lincoln Wheat cent with a Doubled Die reverse, DDR-002. The doubling shows as extreme extra thickness on all outer devices, including the dots, wheat ears and stems. The second and fourth pictures show design doubling on the obverse which is normal for the year. They also show concentric die scratches (under Lincoln's nose) that serve as markers for the Doubled Die reverse. I included the third picture because it shows nice Strike Doubling on the coat. If you'd like this one for your collection, I'll send it out within one business day.
