1939-D Walking Liberty Half Dollar with CONECA Repunched Mintmark (RPM) #2 D/D North. Extremely Fine 45 Grade. Original surfaces that have not been messed with. While not actually included in The Cherrypickers' Guide 5th Edition Volume 2, this RPM #2 is very similar to RPM #1 on page 272, and RPM #1 is indexed as FS-50-1939D-501. The repunching of the "D" mintmark is easily seen in the attached photos. Lady Liberty's breastplate is full and complete on the obverse while the feathers at the base of the eagle's neck show on the reverse. Grading is subjective. Please examine the attached photos to formulate your own opinion in regard to grade.
