This is a 1942-D Lincoln cent in Almost Uncirculated (AU) condition. It has a doubled die reverse that is listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1942-D 1¢ WDDR-003. A close Class II spread towards the center shows on the right wheat ear, kernels, & stem. This is a minor doubled die variety which is reflected in the price.
