1942-D Washington Quarter Double Die Obverse (DDO). Very Fine-20 Grade. Original surfaces that have not been messed with. One of the most popular and strongest DDO's in the entire Washington Quarter series, this variety features very strong doubling on IN GOD WE TRUST, LIBERTY, and the date (1942). Excellent close-up photos of the doubling on this variety can been seen on the Variety Vista Website. Grading is subjective. Please examine the attached photos to formulate your own opinion in regard to grade.
