This is a 1942-S Lincoln Cent in what I am calling Almost Uncirculated (AU) condition. On first glance this coin appears to be a Brilliant Uncirculated coin, however, to me the coloring does not seem right. I suspect that some time ago an extremely well struck cent was dipped or professionally cleaned. The coin looks great, but as I said, the coloring is not quite right so I am selling this as an almost uncirculated coin. If I am wrong, you'll have a real gem, but I don't think that I am wrong. Sorry, I can't possibly scan and/or photograph every single coin that I hope to be selling. You do have a full 14 day return privilege as long as the coin has not been removed from the 2x2 in which it was shipped. I have accumulated a significant number of coins over the years and the time has come to liquidate. My wife knows nothing about coins and my two children aren't the least bit interested. To avoid having them eventually dumped into a bank for face value, they need to go before I do. As a result, I am trying to price them at very competitive rates. Good luck with all of your collecting efforts. If sending payment by check or money order, please send payment to: John A. Wexler, P.O. Box 544, Quakertown, PA 18951-0544
