1942 Walking Liberty Half Dollar Doubled Die Reverse. About Uncirculated +++ (AU-58 or so). This variety is included in the Cherrypickers' Guide 5th Edition Volume 2, indexed as FS-50-1942-801, and found on page 274. Strong doubled spread on HALF DOLLAR, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, on the branch, and lower eagle. Original surfaces that have not been messed with. An affordable copy of this strong doubled die and popular variety. According to the PCGS Website, the current market value for this variety is $150 in AU-55, and $175 in AU-58. REASONABLY PRICED HERE FOR ONLY $75.00! Grading is subjective. Please examine the attached photos to formulate your own opinion in regard to grade.
