A 1943-D Lincoln Wheat Cent (Steel) US Mint Coin in "Uncirculated" Condition.
An exciting one-year-only issue! To save precious copper for the war effort, the Treasury Department began issuing cents in this one-year-only composition. However, the metals used did not circulate well, and 1944 saw the return of the traditional copper cent. This is a great opportunity to own a coveted "steel cent" from the Denver Mint!
