1943-D Walking Liberty Half Dollar. About Uncirculated ++ Grade. Original Surfaces that have not been messed with. Much of the original mint luster is present. This coin is of an earlier die state with all devices and lettering on both reverse and obverse very sharp and clear. What is unusual about this coin is that what you see on the southeast 1/4 of of the reverse ARE NOT scratches due to cleaning or wear, but a series of light die cracks starting from above the A in HALF, and extending all the way through the tips of the eagle's feathers toward the second A of AMERICA. There is also a die crack on the top of of the eagle's wing under the letters AMER of AMERICA. Very strange indeed for an earlier die state!
Grading is subjective. Please examine the attached photos to formulate your own opinion in regard to grade.
