This is a 1944-D Lincoln cent in BU (MS63 or better) condition. It has a doubled die reverse that is listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1944-D 1¢ WDDO-019. A close Class II spread towards the center shows on the the letters of IN GOD WE TRUST and the 44 in the date. This is a minor doubled die variety which is reflected in the price.
