1945-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar With Very Rare Large Serif "S" Mintmark. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated Grade. The attached photos are that of the actual coin the buyer will receive. According to the NGC website, here is their detailed description and analysis or the Large "S" Mintmark 1945-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar:
"The overwhelming majority of the 1945-S halves display the Knob-Tail "S" mintmark which would carry into 1946. A very few, however, have the older Large Serif S Mintmark, and this is a variety to seek." This half dollar features blast white surfaces and sharp details, and original surfaces that have not been messed with. Grading is subjective. Please formulate your own opinion in regard to grade.
