1947 Walking Liberty Half Dollar ANACS Photo Slab Gen 7 MS63/63 Thick Tone COLOR

Here we have a beautiful and fully original 1947 Walking Liberty Half Dollar in an old Generation 4 ANACS Photo Slab which were in production from March 1981 through may 1982. This coin was certified 2-15-1982 as documented on the certificate. ANACS Photo Slabs were produced through 1990 and started in 1972. Over that 18 year period, there were over 10 designs with many sub-designs along the way. After the Gen 10 Photo Slab came the first of the ANA sonically sealed slabs. Before that, the photo slabs had been around since as early as 1972 which a lot of people aren't aware of.

The Gen 4 Photo Slab is quite uncommon to scarce. These were only in production for a year, and there are not a whole heck of a lot of these still around. The slab itself is collectible which is the main reason this coin hasn't been submitted elsewhere. Sadly it is time for this coin to find another custodian to take care of it.

Your bid is for the EXACT coin in the photos. At SAM's Coins and Heavy Metal LLC, we NEVER use Stock Photos.
