1952 Jefferson Nickel

The quality of circulating coinage from the U. S. Mint continued its general decline in 1952. While many rolls were saved, the coins taken from these are often lackluster, poorly struck and spotted or stained. The nickel illustrated is superior to most, but the blotchiness of its reverse is all too common.
