This is a 1954-D Lincoln cent in Brilliant Uncirculated (MS63 or better) full red condition. It has a repunched mint mark (RPM) variety that is listed in the Wexler RPM Files as 1954-D 1¢ WRPM-001. It is a D/D/D North & South. This is a later die state specimen that only shows the D/D North. It is illustrated by Wexler on his website as one of the “Best of the Wheat Cent RPMs.” It is also listed in the CONECA RPM Files as RPM #1 and is featured in The Cherrypickers’ Guide as FS-01-1951D-501 (021.76). It is on the list of the Top 100 Lincoln Cent RPMs in the Wexler RPM Files. It is also on the list of Top 100 Lincoln Cent RPMs in the CONECA RPM Files.
