ROOSEVELT TOKEN is a so-called dollar or commemorative medallion from the 1958 celebration of Roosevelt's Centennial, featuring the Roosevelt National Memorial in the Badlands, North Dakota.Description : It is made from bronze with a matte finish, and measures approximately 38mm in diameter. It corresponds with HK-526. Condition : Sharp, original luster & bronze finish.
The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Prokop Lee, Theodore Roosevelt 1858, Centennial 1958 and the reverse text is Theodore Roosevelt National Memorial Park, North Dakota Badlands. The front side of the coin shows a bust of Theodore Roosevelt in the center facing the front right of the coin with a large border of text surrounding and no actual coin border. The backside of the coin depicts a monument in the upper half of the coin with a man riding a horse, a line separating the text below with the image above, four lines of text in the lower half of the coin.
