1959 Franklin Silver Half Scarce Type 2 Reverse (Proof Die) Brilliant Uncirculated BU. This variety happened when a die intended for striking proof coinage was accidently used on striking regular coinage. This variety occurred in the years 1958 and 1959 only. Note the well defined Eagle wings on the reverse. True auction, no reserve, starts at $1.
