Item Description
1959P US TREASURY ISSUED GEM PROOF SET - 5 coins in original packaging w/ treasury envelop and green Superintendent inspection polyethelene note which only appeared in certain years. Odd verbiage in each one.
*appears to be a small microcrack in sealed plastic, in the sealed portion where the quarter is contained, which has resulted in small oxidation/tarnish spot on the quarter, see photos. Each coin has its own sealed portion and that seems to be the only part affected. Otherwise excellent condition. Stored for 4 decades with 19 other sets from 1956-1964. All accompanying purchase receipts are included with each if purchased from coin show auction in 70s, if not direct from treasury. Most were birthday sets for my older siblings.
