This is a 1960-D Small Date Lincoln cent in Brilliant Uncirculated (MS63 or better) full red condition. It has a "struck through" indentation running through the date and part of Lincoln's vest on the obverse. It is a nice example of this error type. Struck through errors occur when something comes between the die and the planchet at the time that the coin is being struck. An impression of the foreign matter is pressed into the coin at the time of the striking usually leaving an indentation. In this case the foreign matter appears to have been some sort of metal fragment. Satisfaction guaranteed. Full 15 day return privelege as long as the coin has not been removed from the 2x2 in which it was shipped. You can rest assured that you are getting a genuine error coin. I am the John A.
