1966 Special Mint Set
SMS: In between proof and Uncirculated. Due to coin shortages in 1965-1967, proof and uncirculated sets were halted, but instead a limited number of special mint sets were minted that were superior to the average uncirculated strike, but not as mirror-like as a typical proof. The Kennedy half dollar contained is 40% silver.

The cheaper first class option is mailed in an envelope/flat. No tracking is available with this option.
The higher option is first class package service, which will be sent in a bubble mailer, with tracking provided.
All single coins, regardless of how they are pictured, will be mailed in a coin flip to reduce weight and thickness with the exception of those in mint cellos, graded slabs, or unique mint packaging.
Our shipping costs are reasonable and realistic. We do not up-charge shipping for profit. We do take care in shipping our coins, and simply try to recover the expense.
