1969-D Lincoln Cent Floating Roof

Offered here for the collector is a 1969-D Lincoln Cent error coin.

The die that struck this coin was excessively polished, removing the supports under the upper roof of the Lincoln Memorial. Many collectors refer to this error as the Floating Roof.
