This 1972-S Proof Eisenhower Dollar is known as a "Brown Ike," simply because it came from the mint in a brown box. It's the lowest mintage of all the Proof Ikes, and it's struck in silver. It's now nearly 40 years since it was minted, and they've become difficult to find and even harder to find in their original brown box. We bought a small hoard and now you can add this scarce Ike to collection. But hurry-when these are gone we don't know when we'll be able to offer these "Brown Ikes" again.
