Offered here for the collector is a 1973-D Jefferson Nickel error coin.
This is a 1973-D Jefferson nickel with a Misaligned Die error. The die that struck this coin was out of alignment resulting in the reverse design being farther to the east south east than intended. It's most easily seen by how close the right side of the Monticello is to the edge of the coin, and the absence of the rim at the lower right edge. If you'd like to have it, I'll send it out within one business day.
