1978 D Eisenhower Dollar F

Denver struck more than 33 million Eisenhower Dollars in 1978, the last year of the series. Many if not most of these pieces, however, were abused by slot machines of the day. Mint State survivors are available, courtesy of mint sets, but locating unblemished examples with quality strikes is surprisingly difficult.
