This listing is for a set of 3 1979 (first year of issue) circulated Susan B. Anthony dollars, one from each of the three mints: Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco.
How long has it been since you received a Susan B. Anthony dollar in your change? I haven't come across one for years! When the SBA dollar was introduced in 1979, few people knew anything about Susan B. I venture that hasn't changed much. She was a suffragette -- an activist (feminist) who fought the system for women's right to vote from about 1851 until her death in 1906! I included some of her quotes you can gain an idea of what she stood for, and if you think it's a good idea for women in the US to vote, you owe a debt of thanks to SBA and others who sacrificed their reputations and families and gave freely of themselves.
