The Variety of the "Wide Rim" or "Near Date", both mean the same, a later stage die hubbing was used on some coins. Not a "rarity" but certainly considered "scarce" and now seldom found in the wild. This coin is AU-55, faily clean and without much circulation dings. Very nice collectable variety type coin.
