This is a 1980-P Jefferson nickel Misaligned Die error (M.A.D.). The die that struck this coin was so far out of alignment that portions of Liberty and the date run over the edge of the coin. If you'd like it for your collection, I'll send it out within one business day. Thanks for looking.
