According to the NGC Price Guide, as of February 2023, a Susan B Anthony Coin from 1980 in circulated condition is worth between $1.05 and $1.35. However, on the open market 1980 S Silver Dollars in pristine, uncirculated condition sell for as much as $300.
The 1980-S Susan B. Anthony Dollar is very common as the U.S. Mint struck over 20 million examples. In MS67 condition they become scarce. Anything grading higher is very hard to find and expect to pay a big premium for any example grading above MS67 condition.
Obverse: Portrait of Susan B. Anthony, facing right, surrounded by 13 stars with LIBERTY centered on top, and the date at the bottom. Mint mark, if any, is located off SBA's right shoulder.
Reverse: A flying eagle, clutching olive branches, appears to be landing on the cratered moon, with the earth seen in the background. 13 stars surround the design with the words UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and ONE DOLLAR framing the periphery.
