According to the NGC Price Guide, as of February 2023, a Susan B Anthony Coin from 1981 in circulated condition is worth between $1.05 and $1.35. However, on the open market 1981 P Silver Dollars in pristine, uncirculated condition sell for as much as $600.

The circulation strike 1981-P Susan B. Anthony Dollar is the key date in the whole Susan B. Anthony Dollar series. It is the lowest mintage in the circulation strike series and it is also the second most difficult date and mint mark to find in high uncirculated condition. Only the 1981-S is tougher in MS66 grades and higher.

Obverse: Portrait of Susan B. Anthony, facing right, surrounded by 13 stars with LIBERTY centered on top, and the date at the bottom. Mint mark, if any, is located off SBA's right shoulder.

Reverse: A flying eagle, clutching olive branches, appears to be landing on the cratered moon, with the earth seen in the background. 13 stars surround the design with the words UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and ONE DOLLAR framing the periphery.
