Usually this is typified by prominent prominent orange peel effect in the open fields of the coin especially on the reverse. Although this coin does exhibit orange peel effect on the reverse right above "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and below "PURIBUS UNUM," it does not have near the usual prominence that sticks out and spoils the eye appeal. Also notice that Jefferson's home Monticello has no orange peel effect (which is common on weak strikes) and exhibits strong definition.
