This is a 1987 Lincoln cent in Almost Uncirculated (AU) condition. It has a die clash error on the reverse. A strong die clash of Lincoln's head from the obverse can be seen below the Memorial running into the Memorial steps. The photo of this error is a photo of the actual coin being sold here. This is a minor error that requires some magnification to see. If you collect only errors that are easy to see, then this one may not be for you. Satisfaction guaranteed. Full 14 day return privilege as long as the coin has not been removed from the 2x2 in which it was sold. You can rest assured that you are getting a genuine error. I am the John A. Wexler who has authored or co-authored numerous different books about die varieties including the original The RPM Book, The Complete Price Guide and Cross Reference to Lincoln Cent Mint Mark Varieties, The Lincoln Cent Doubled Die, The Best of the Jefferson Nickel Doubled Die Varieties, The Best of the Washington Quarter Doubled Die Varieties, The Authoritative Reference on Lincoln Cents, Treasure Hunting Buffalo Nickels, Treasure Hunting Mercury Dimes and several others. I also co-owned and edited Error-Variety News from 1978 through the mid-1980's.
